ABOUT Yohanes (Yo)
Yohanes Goodell is a multifaceted photographer and art director hailing from Indonesia, with a rich cultural heritage stemming from his Hispanic mother and his father of Indonesian and Dutch descent. Yohanes’ photography experience grew up under the guidance of his father, an experienced journalist who completed his graduate’s degree in journalism at the Missouri School of Journalism and has worked at a number of newspapers.
Yohanes’ passion for photography continued in high school, serving as the lead photographer and art director for the school's magazine, honing his skills in visual storytelling and capturing compelling images. More recently, he was the director of photography at his university’s student magazine, PULSE, where he oversaw a team of photographers and works alongside lead writers to create quarterly issues. This past early June, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Film Production with the academic honor of Magna Cum Laude.
Through his multicultural upbringing, Yohanes strives to communicate powerful narratives through his photographs, showcasing the beauty and diversity of the world around him.
